Malta is a mediterranean archipelago, nestled between Sicily and the North African coast. Peter created a series of six paintings when on the main land of Malta and the northern island Goza. ‘Bougainvillea’ was inspired from the sitings of a bright red flowered plant which encapsulated the traditional houses in the countryside and shore line.
